I had a great time watching Pretty Woman. We have to be mindful that this theatre is a business and like all businesses holds the right to change their policies based on what they feel is best for their guests and employees. Pretty much every person I saw was abiding by the policy. I know some folks are complaining about the mask wearing but in all honesty it didn't bother me much at all. We are already looking forward to returning for Hamilton and Beetlejuice!Edit: masks are currently required (also vaccine cards but no one seemed to check them). There was never a moment when their mics dropped, things got muddled or too loud. We were all the way up in the last row of the center balcony and had no issues hearing the actors. I feel there should be a mention of the audio people running the sound. Otherwise it is a great place to see any touring show. The one downside is the seats are small and kind of cramped. The show was pretty full for a matinee and yet every person on staff was patient and friendly. The opera house itself is grand and ornate, truly a gem of the Boston theatre district. Saw a touring production of Wicked at this theatre today. The show takes place at Opera House (MA): 539 Washington Street, Boston, MA USA.Īverage start time: Monday-Friday – 8:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday – 2:00 or 8:00 PM.
